Harbor Guest House

Incredible stay in the same spacious 2 bedroom unit I stayed when I was young! The location on the water and just off the main street is perfect and peaceful! The manager works hard to keep things extremely clean and comfortable. My family was able to take advantage of many of the specialties of Door County while truly feeling like we could come "home" at the end of our daily excursions. My kids keep asking when we are going back next!

What a wonderful gem! We had a one bedroom suite. It has a separate bedroom, full kitchen, living room, and dining area. There's a working fireplace with wood to burn. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Just bring i your own food. A walk out patio with grill. And you are on the water! You can walk down the pier for a beautiful sunset. Definitely walking distance to restaurants and shopping. It is sparking clean and lots of storage. Lady at front desk was very nice. All in all I wish we had more time to stay. I can't wait to come back!

Definitely an adult venue since it doesn't offer kid-friendly amenities. But that's one of the things we love about it. Cozy, comfortable rooms overlooking the harbor. Our 1st choice for accommodations when we go to Door. :-)

This was such a cute and cozy stay for a weekend away! We loved having a little secluded patio for stargazing and a view of the harbor, and close walking distance to cafes and shops nearby. I will note that you can hear whoever happens to stay upstairs if you’re on the bottom unit. But not a big deal to us, otherwise it’s great place, will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Door County!

Rooms refurbished regularly, but not all at once. Bring a sharp knife for cooking and be patient with previous guests lazy enough to put pots and pans in the dishwasher. If you need something, Liz can usually find it for you.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better place to stay in Door County. Harbor Guest House is a hidden gem -- STEPS from the water, you can't find a place with a better view in the entire peninsula. Tucked away from the main drag in Fish Creek, this place gives you peace and privacy while offering an excellent location for restaurants and shopping. We are repeat customers and will continue being patrons at Harbor Guest House for years.to come.

Staying at the Harbor Guest House was perfect in every way. It was in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Fish Creek, yet far enough away from the crowds and noise. We stayed at the boat house which had a full kitchen (although we didn't cook with all the great restaurants around), a large sitting room, two bedrooms, two baths, and a large deck that looked out onto the marina and water. Liz and Trent were wonderful hosts, providing us with information on places to go, things to do and places to eat. It definitely deserves 5+ stars.

Great location in Fish Creek. Perfect view of the harbor from our room. Large comfortable space to relax after touring Door County each day. Liz made everything easy. Good safety precautions in place. Quick walk in to shops and dining in town.
